I am a Ph.D. Student at Industrial, Environmental, and Biometric Informatics Laboratory (IEBI Lab), Department of Computer Science – Università degli Studi di Milano, with the administrative headquarters at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. My research focuses on studying and implementing innovative methods for iris recognition in unconstrained conditions, specifically emphasizing deep learning approaches for preprocessing and identity comparison. This work addresses cybersecurity challenges, ensuring that biometric data is secured against attacks and unauthorized access.
